i love this phone but my dad will never let me get it!! but ill just raise money to buy it!!!! I WILL GET ONE THOW!!!!! and i allready have 200$$ dollors .but untill i figure out how much the bill is and how much the phone is ill raise that other money then my mom will take me to the samsung store and ill buy it but if its not out befor summer break ill just raise up 600$$$$$$ dollors and ill will buy the IPHONE by apple<well grate phone thnx bye!>

What a huge smart phone… it has an ample of space to store images, videos, ring-tones and music tracks as memory can be expanded up to 4 GB. 2MP camera gives high quality pictures and has a good music player which supports multiple types of music and video codec.

Hello…..
I saw a video of Samsung-i640 on you tube. The phone was looking awesome in silver and black combination with white back. It looks little bulky in the pictures but not in reality. QWERTY keyboard was looking slightly uncomfortable but its jog dial wheel was working very fine. Will definitely have it once out in the market.

No doubt, SGH-i640 is a nice phone! Probably, it is one of the best phones ever made by Samsung. Though I already have one PDA device, I will bye I-640 to add it in the list of my favourite phones collection. Nice device..buy it!

Yoke… absolute crap phone!
Slider phone should always be thinner otherwise you can’t operate it with single hand. Also as per my experience windows mobiles are little slow than phones having Symbian OS. So I can’t go with Samsung SGH-i640. Sorry Samsung!

why are all Samsung designs the same? No improvement at all. This one is a PDA and they had a lot of choice and variety in developing the design of this phone. Like for e.g. they could have made a swivel handset or horizontal mode display for web surfing, etc.

for those who are really really let down that the i640 doesn’t have wi-fi then this is a PDA phone, you can always insert a micro SDIO WiFi 11b/g Card that works well with WM 6.0.

a good mobile. But if they had include wifi then this one was perfect to the T. even i620 didn’t have wi-fi and if this is an upgraded model then I am let down.
