yes i was having same problem, i never used to store more that 10-12 photos in my phone, i went to a nokia service centre, they sorted out the problem. they said, it was a symbian's problem .. and fixed it :)

heyy, this is a really good phone, but on the other hand i have got about 14 songs on it so far and it wont let me have anymore songs and i only had it yesterday and my phone is an Nokia N81, 8GB. please reply to me. Thanks.

Got the phone today on Optus from All phones.
my only problems with the handset would be;
- Lack of volume from the internal speakers (very quiet)
- there are no protruding edges to stop the glossy surfaces from getting heavily scratched
but on the positive side
- Interface is extremely quick (dramatically faster than the N95)
- the media keys top and bottom fade out when not needed
- the engage demos on the handset are excellent quality (Space Impact, FIFA 07 Demo and Asphalt

I am very impressed with this phone (specifically, looks etc). I don't consider camera is a big issue, because I use it occasionally. If I really need a camera then I would go 4 dig cam .come on it’s a multimedia phone it offers everything & I decided to get it .Can anyone tell me it’s price in India?

Nokia 81 is truly a great handset, and is recommended to every Nokia [ Symbian Lover]. A Great device, in other way the Nokia N81 is a challenge to "Apple's iPOD or phone’s" sound quality.
Nokia 81 a Smart looking handset (well finished) with shiny metal body is a glossy product. The best thing which impressed me was the "Sound Quality" in Headphones. The sound quality of Nokia N81 seemed a bit better than that of Apple's iPhone.
The loudspeaker of Nokia N 81 - 8 GB surprisingly have the BEST Sound Quality. I can say that, when compared to Sony Ericsson's W810 (or some later models) the sound quality of Nokia N 81 seemed better than SE's handsets.
Sound Quality is the most surprising thing (at least for Nokia) since all previous handsets had Mediocre sound quality in Headphones and Poor quality in Loudspeaker. But this time Nokia has came up with really something above all. Great sound quality in Headphones as well as in Loudspeaker.
2MP camera is a mediocre. Not very good at quality (as expected), but however is reliable for taking outdoor images.

The speed of handset while browsing through the menu's is really very fast, just works as fast as any other DUMMY (without OS) handset like Sony Eriksson’s W or K series or Samsung's handsets (sorry for calling them DUMMY but they really are since they do not have any OS).

I would recommend Nokia N81-8GB edition to every Music lover, because of its outstanding SOUND QUALITY which place it on the top of the list of best music phones.

Also, the main feature of this handset attracts GAMES lovers (N-gage Platform) with high graphics, and the first time introduced "Navigation Wheel" is a great addition (with a Standby mode light).

I have been using apple's iPhone as well, but would prefer Nokia N81 over it due to its better sound quality.

Truly, a beautiful device for entertainment

The difference between lithium ion and lithium polymer battery is that lithium polymer packs same power of lithium ion but it is lighter in weight and this phone can play 12 hours of non stop music up to 6 hours of gaming up to 5 hours of video playback.

This phone is on top of the world. Best phone. Only n82 can beat it. N95 is like a brick (original and 8 GB versions). Surely my next phone .And to those who wanted to know: no auto focus (if u need quality pictures buy a camera!!!), best sound and loudest phone, gr8 screen...peace out

Hi people, Nokia was not better than before due to the slow processor but due to their innovation to 369mhz processor there is no doubt that the phone will be extremely fast , because O2 is using in some of their PDA 200 MHz processor which people say it is fast(I haven’t personally experienced it).This phone doesn’t have a good camera because if it has there will be no difference between n95 and n81,plus this is a gaming phone so they have solved the purpose by giving gaming keys. With all the features of n95 (except camera and gps) and extremely fast I think this phone is cool and worth it. People the talk time is different from music playback time, My friend said that the music playback was somewhere around 8-9 hours.
