its really good that Moto brought the phone in both GSM and CDMA editions which work in tandem..phone’s design and features are quite similar to Z6, but as its available with Verzion (my current phone is a version), it will be a treat to use..Verzion offers really good services..

well, hi columba..ROKR Z6 was available only in GSM version, but now with the Z6C world edition, it will be available both in GSM and CDMA bandwidths..

Used it in LA, sound and reception is just fine. I feel the ringing tone could be a bit louder. When I the market, since it don’t have noice filtering capacity, its quite difficult to here the caller.. also the Video quality is average..

I wonder how come people say its sturdy phone? I hardly used it for 15 days and it broke. I returned it back to Verizon. Motorola always make very delicate phones.

Hey all.
I would like to share my opinion, when I was abroad, I could not send SMS, emails (yes, I received calls and texts) the reason behind it was I didn’t purchase an international plan from verizon. Then tell me why they are boasting about 2 bands?

I am giving my true opinion about Z6c. I got this phone 2 months back. And till date I have no complaints about its overall functionalities.
Pros.
Switching from CDMA to GSM and vice a versa is easy and quick
Battery life : its superb, more than what I expected
Slim and sturdy too
Sliding mechanism is smooth
Navigation is quick, easy
Cons;
The outer body of the phone gets finger prints very quickly. This bugs me like anything. I keep on cleaning the phone every now and them.. but its not a big deal!!

I would say a solid phone which fits into your hand so comfortably. It is user friendly and can use it in both network.. CDMA as well GSM?

Why one should go in for this phone? There are plenty of options available in GSM phones. And whats the use of buying a dual band ie CDMA and GSM featured phone? Forget it.. I won’t think about this phone!!

if u purchase da fon it will cost u more but if u upgrade or sign-up a new contract wid verizon u will get it at resonable price. i recently got it for $179.99 wid 2-yr Contract
