Nokia 5230 is really a good phone. I have compared it with nokia 5800, i have seen many differences in 5230 they are
1.poor camera.
2.low sound speakers.
3.no wifi.
4.touch screen not that good.
5.no flash light.
6.no tv out function.
Overall nokia 5800 works good and has more specifications.
Persons who like to buy phone cheap and best then you may go with 5230.
Nokia 5230 is far better than most touch screen smart phones of it range.

this phone sucks i am not able to download anything and you tube viedoes does not play it keeps on buffering before my download is compleat it showes 0kb and the ovi map also is not working now i dont know weather these proablems in 5230 is only for me or wat please help

I have been using this phone from two months. It is a great phone specifically for those who want to use the web on mobile.
On this phone I can use all the symbian softwares. It has very big screen and 2 mp camera which is not up to high level. If you want to buy an entry level touchscreen phone, prefer this one...

Nokia 5230 is cheapest touchscreen handset. 5230 supports all the features available in 5800; but it lacks wi-fi and TV output. And it doesn't come under xpress music type. The photo quality is average but the videos are very good. It has got kinetic scrolling same as 5530 which is amazing feature. I would suggest this phone to everyone.
