If u want a phone just for looks go for it. Otherwise not really worth the money paid for it.

Looks I am lucky my 8800 battery lasts for two days in spite of the heavy usage I have. I think it’s an unique piece after having heard from ppl that theirs die just in a day or so.

My problem is people think I am rich, when I use this phone. But I purchased it by getting a credit from bank. A good phone, I love it.

I have a Nokia 8800 for quite a long time now and am so frustrated with it. Shocking battery life and has no good features worth for the money one pays.

Such a stylish phone & such a low internal memory, what a pity! Also they don’t provide a card slot. Nokia why did u do so?

If you don’t chat for more than hour on the phone then go in for this. Great style & everything but no good for long talkers like me, I changed it. As I talk for more than 2-3 hours a day.

So costly, I don’t think it’s worth the price. I might as well get 3-4 phones with different specialties; instead of having one with all things in it. That will make me have variety!

A class apart and also the stainless steel cover protects the delicacy of this phone. Exclusive one! Good thinking of protecting the fine screen by a glass cover

Just a few words of advice for anyone considering buying1)keypad is a bt small for people with big fingers
2) battery life is crap. Couple of hours talk time at best.
3)Picks up a lot of dirt, so u have to clean it all the time to show the finish.
4)Call volume is abit lo

I hate strating things on a neagtive, but i feel that some poeple have no concept on the mobile phone industry in the sleigtest. How many of the most desirable handsets in terms of looks do you feel have the best features? hardly any in my opinion. So when people make comparisons between the 8800 and phone X whhich is "all singing and dancing" it gets on my nerves. Sonny hit the nail on the head when he said that this phone is about simplictity and looks and it acheives both. O.k it has a bad battery life but beauty has its price. so anyone interested in fashion phones who can overlook some imperfections go for the 8800.

I totally agree abbas, the 8800 is more atractive than the sirocco, but i think we are in a minority on this one.

What can i say. I absoloutley loved this phone. Being a fashion orientated mobile consumer, i found that the design of the 8800 was extremley impressive. The handset has excellent build quality and an intuitie nterface and that is all that concerns me. O.K. t doesnt have the best array of features but that is not the purpose of this handset. This handset is designed to look good and be simple and eay to use which it does well. Anyone interested in buying this handser based on the design mwho has owned a Nokia handst previously will not be dissapointed. Just take into account that the battery will need charging at least once a day, so this may not be the handset for heavy users.

Using this phone 8800 for last 1 month, and the handset just hangs in the middle while doing talking / texing!! The care center says, Software is not easily available and all crap… what not…I better change it now!! Its high time!!

It's just an expensive phone with poor battery life!! If better options are available, then why to buy it??? 6233 is much better than this phone, with more features, good design and cost less!

8800 is the great looking phone, I like it better than sirocco!!

This phone is stylish and very sophisticated. However the speakerphone is very average, have to put it next to my ear to hear a voice! Ring tones are very weird and eccentric. Picture quality is average, not the best. One big drawback is that after a while dirt sticks on the screen. Although its a very strong phone, hard to break!
