Nokia 6151 is alright; but somewhat heavy.

I am using 6151 from one year, very easy to use. It has long battery life, good call quality, detailed menu options and sensitive menu design.

The video Camera of Nokia 6151 is one of the best features of the phone. Mine video clearly. I bought 1GB memory card last week and I was able to video up to 2 hours- about 100MB and the images, colour, etc as cleared as the source. I bought this phone 1st October, 2006 and up till now I have no problem with it apart from the e-mail aspect of it. Absolutely, I don't know how the e-mail work or function. Please can anyone advise me what to this to make it work?

I was Surprised at this Phone .The Menu is Fast I Mean Fast Like the old Nokia 6230 .it’s features are Flawless. Stereo Speakers as Loud as the Nokia 6233.3G which is useful.

The 6151 does not switch off when you display a photo in full screen...I own a 6151 and I’m satisfied, but for a cell phone that came last year in the European market the could have made the camera more powerful like at least 2 mega pixels, the software is easy to handle.

. I've had this phone for about year. Works awesome, it fell a lot of times, still works like a charm. :)

And someone asked if videos work at full screen. Yes they do. (176x144 video size)

Some say they're having problems with the switch on/off button - I haven't had those problems in a whole year, the same goes for the sound, always worked great.

Don't know what's the problem with some of the phones if they actually give you trouble, mine works excellent.

You can use this phone as a modem to connect to the internet. Just buy CA-53 nokia USB cable and install Nokia Pc Suite in your computer.

I have been using this phone for over a year now. I am completely satisfied with the performance. It has a bit of everything MP3 player (with equalizer), FM radio, camera, Blue tooth, 3G, java applications, flight mode, small size, good looks... what more can you ask for a non-smart phone. In short a jack of all trades, master of none. The battery life is just amazing. The price is reasonable as well, perhaps because of the miniature screen.

It is good phone, if you want to upgrade from simple phones. Or if you use a high end phone and want a second back-up phone.

I've had this phone about 3 months, and bought in Taiwan, where I live. Overall, I am pleased with it although you cannot type Chinese characters using pinyin. Also, I use it for an alarm clock, but about 3 times it has not gone off. When I go to check it, the phone just displays "Local Mode" and I need to take out the battery to reset it. Not a big deal, but a bit dangerous as it's my alarm clock when I do business travel!
Does anyone know how to solve this problem.

I have used the Nokia 6151 before, and now the 3110 Classic and my personal opinion is this: I like the 3110c better in terms of design and durability. The 6151 looks like it was made from very cheap plastic material that 'squeaks' while you are typing on it and can get scratched or chipped off very easily. I dropped mine once. Dropped it rather 'gently' and it was even protected by a silicone casing and yet it got a very bad scratch at the bottom part. Made me really sad. The 3110c on the other hand is made of a combination of rather high-quality plastic and rubber, so it gives a feeling of durability plus the fact that it looks sleeker, is smaller and lighter. Mine looks very slim and sexy in a crystal casing.

Anyway, internally they are pretty much the same except that the 6151 has a more internal memory and has 3G, but you can't use it for video calling anyway since it doesn't have a front camera. Useless if you ask me.

If you don't need 3G, get the 3110c instead. It’s even cheaper. :)
