I like 8110. My colleague has this phone and sometimes I use it. It is not like other big sized blackberry phones. Even I am thinking to have it, as I also need a PDA phone whilst away from home. Good camera quality, great sound and superb customization! Grab it guys!!

you can buy Blackberry pearl 8110 in around $270. You may get a used phone for $150 or so.. try it. Most of the people think that all Blackberry phones are expensive. But RIM also produces affordable handsets. So if you want to buy this handset, have it… it’s a ROCKING phone!

I was using Blackberry Pearl 8100 before getting 8110. I thought 8110 would offer me a better battery support than my older device. But the same problem continued with this device also. Again Blackberry has launched a phone. Pearl 8110 with weak battery. I am getting angry now!

We can call Blackberry Pearl 8110 as an entry-level PDA phone. It has document viewer, GPS support and some multimedia features like 2 MP camera, media player etc.

Got BlackBerry Pearl 8110 as a gift in Jan on my B’day and this one is great for the one’s who use emails as their communication tool. I was using HTC mobile before this one. Both are good one’s but what I like about BB is that it downloads emails automatically as you scroll over them where as Microsoft adopts manual downloading and this consumes time. But BB lacks one thing and that is the facility to turn off emails when not at work.

Blackberry Pearl 8110 comes with 2 mp camera but the quality is definitely not good as 2 mp camera offered by any Sony Ericsson phone. I am depressed!

It was a bit difficult for me to go for a phone without touchscreen as the phone I had been using for past one year was with touchscreen, so found a bit hard to work. Anyways I have got used to it now and plus I can handle it with one hand. The web browsing part is a huge improvement over the Microsoft in Windows mobile but this one’s screen is small, that creates a problem in scrolling over quickly. I can download the pages faster as compared to 3G on windows.

NO RADIO! Why? Why? Why? Its just such small thing, but such a big pastime. Even MP3 player doesn’t give as much variety as radio..sheesh!

Screen is a bit cramped up. If you tend to browse the web regularly on your phone then this is not the ideal one for you, small screen does not help a bit in the task of browsing. Plus no 3G and just tri-band with GPRS does not help when you want ultra-fast browsing. Good for the one’s who only send and receive emails from their devices.

I have recently brought this phone and am quite happy with it..the GPS and the camera are working just fine. I have problems only with its battery life..it doesn’t long last as told on the manual.

I really don’t think much of this phone..inspite of being a smartphone, it doesn’t feature 3G or WiFi..we have to depend on EDGE..also it has just 2 MP camera, and that too when camera resolutions are zooming up to 7 MP. B’berry designs are also getting repetitive..

I feel that once you get used to BB handsets, you actually do find the others not worth. Used to, Oops I am addicted to Blackberry since two years. I have been changing over handsets, but have stuck to one company. Started using this a month back and this one is good only if you like to play with the GPS. They have improved the GPS function in it but have forgot to add a Wi-Fi to it. Rest is fine with the phone.

I completely agree with Andrew..i use the Telmap Navigator on my GPS system and its really good! It transmits satellite signal accurately and nearly accurate directions.

the best part of this phone is that they didn’t bring it any gaudy colors (except the pink one)..i mean the general choice of business people are black or grey..at the most blue.. so this one is great one, at least design wise
