A new beta version has been released for Windows Mobile and Symbian. The new release emphasizes the continuous growth of mobile video demand.

With all the latest mobile phones capable of recording and display videos, the development of new mobile video players comes naturally. One of the leading software in the business is DivX and a new version has been released recently.

The new DivX Mobile Player has a beta version, v0.91 that is available for both Windows Mobile 5.0 and Symbian OS 9.0 or newer versions. The new software comes with new features that enable the user to disable thumbnail display and has a new capability of better handling corrupt video files as well as improved playback position memory and easier access to DivX Vide-on-Demand, reports MobileTopSoft.
