WebOS 1.31- A change for better? Sheetal | , 11:59 a.m. Nov. 17, 2009 2009-11-17

Palm Pre, the first phone to run on the new Web OS reached the market in the early part of this year. Designed to be powerful and hopefully easy to use, the smart phone offered features like a 3.1" multi-touch screen, a sliding full QWERTY keyboard, a CDMA/EV-DO, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3MP camera with flash, stereo Bluetooth, microUSB, and 8GB of internal memory.

Now, with a good deal of hype created about Palm's Pixi, the Palm Pre owners have started tantalizing as the Pixi is expected to endorse webOS 1.31.

The new version webOS 1.31 is rumoured to have updates like Yahoo Synergy, exclusive ringtones for new messages wherein automatic panning for videos shot in wide screen will be completely ruled out.

With the introduction of this facility, you can easily perform functions like copy, forward or delete a single message.

Though the information is not yet official , the facility to download Facebook App from the online store is also under way.

Well, the owners of Palm Pre may not find the shift from 1.21 to 1.31 unlike as the Pixi necessarily doesn't proffer everything you want including iTunes syncing.
