HTC Legend was officially unveiled two weeks ago at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and it seems that Vodafone UK will be the first to make it available to its customers. The company also announced the phone’s price tag and additional offers that come with it.

The new handset has a 3.2 inch touchscreed display with HVGA resolution, a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and autofocus, WiFi, HSPA, built-in GPS receiver, accelerometer, optical trackpad and a 3.5 mm headset jack. The HTC Legend is powered by the Android 2.1.

The phone will be available to Vodafone’s UK customers for 1.99 pounds, if the customer opts for a monthly plan of 25 pounds. In addition, the customer receives 300 minutes and unlimited texts and 3 months free insurance. If the customer decides to sign a 35 pounds per month contract agreement, which includes 600 minutes and unlimited texts, the HTC Legend will come for free.

In any case, according to reports, Vodafone UK intends to offer other devices for purchase before the end of the month. Previous reports suggested that the HTC Legend will becove available sometime in April.
