Virgin Mobile Launches Shuttle V.J. | , 11:23 a.m. Sept. 11, 2008 2008-09-11

 

Virgin Mobile USA has announced the upcoming launch of Shuttle, their first mobile phone that supports EV-DO / 3G. Also using the handset the user will have access to Facebook, Myspace, YouTube and a number of social networking sites.

 

Virgin Mobile Shuttle is a slider that comes with a 2 inch TFT display, a 1.3 megapixel camera with video recording, Media Player, stereo Bluetooth, Virgin Mobile USA’s Contact Vault and expendable memory via a microSD card.

 

The handset is pretty light as it weights about 85 grams and measures 99 x 48 x 17.8 mm. It has a batter that offers about 4 hours in talk-time mode and about 14 days in standby.

 

The handset will be available for purchase starting September 28 via Best Buy. The price wasn’t announced but should be affordable.
