ViewPad 7, a 7" android tablet has been launched, that promises to offer complete phone functions along with multi-tasking capabilities. Usually an LCD seller, ViewSonic that deals with 3D devices and digital media players is now expanding its horizon by putting forward an android powered ViewPad 7, which is believed to come up with absolute phone utility.

At present, it is not clear whether there will be an ear piece; but chances are that, for making voice calls, the usual 3.5mm headset jack must have been incorporated in it.

Besides this, it may feature: Android 2.2 Froyo, 7" WVGA (800 x 480) display, 3MP camera, integrated Bluetooth, VGA front-facing camera, microSD card slot for up to 32GB of storage, full size SIM card slot, 3G, GPS and Wi-Fi.

Well it is supposed that within a lightweight and pocket-sized design, this device is ideal for people who need a mobile connection to the world by means of email and video and simply want to cherish a wide-range of applications as well.

Though the official unveil is expected during the 50th edition of IFA in Berlin (2010) , where the estimated price will be something around $540.
