Sony Ericsson presented two cell phones today, Viz- Elm and Hazel. These GreenHeartâ„¢ phones are made of recycled plastics and free from hazardous chemicals.

Believed to come along with novel sound enhancing technologies like noise shield, HD voice and intelligent volume adaptation, these splash-resistant handsets are expected to present FastPorts proprietary, a 5MP camera, Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support and dual-band HSPA (2100/900), screen auto rotation facility and a microUSB charger.

A social networking coalition by means of home screen widgets is readily available. Furthermore, an added advantage by way of multimedia features with support for SensMe, TrackID, and MegaBass application is also there.

The Hazel sports a 2.6" 16M color QVGA display, 16 mm thickness and weighs around 160 gms. It will be available in metal black and pearly rose color and may hit the market around the first quarter of 2010.

Alternatively, Elm puts forward a 2.2"screen, 262K color support, QVGA resolution, 14 mm thickness and weighs around 90 grams. And this handset might be accessible around second quarter of 2010 in superior black and passionate red color.
