T-Mobile will offer its subscribers the new BlackBerry Curve 8520. The handset will be available in a choice of black and frost colors starting August 5 for $129.99 with a two year contract agreement and data plan.

The handset comes with some interesting features. It comes with access to social networking on FaceBook and Myspace along with music and entertainment on the go. The phone features the RIM classic full QWERTY keyboard.

Additionally, the phone has WiFi connectivity for Internet browsing and WiFi calling using T-Mobile’s Unlimited HotSpot Calling service. The phone features 256 MB of Flash memory and a 512 Mhz processor.

The BlackBerry Curve 8520 comes with a modest 2 megapixel camera with zoom and video recording capabilities. It features the advanced media player for music, pictures and videos with dedicated media keys and a 3.5 mm stereo jack plus BlackBerry Media Sync which makes it easy to quickly sync music from iTunes or Windows Media Player with the smartphone.

The handset comes with the full BlackBerry Internet Service support and allows access to up to 10 supported email accounts including ISP mail like Yahoo!, Windows Live, Hotmail, AOL and Gmail. Additionally, the phone also has BlackBerry Enterprise Server support which provides advanced security and IT administration features for corporate deployments.

The handset is a quad-band world phone with EDGE/ GPRS/ GSM connectivity support. The handset comes with a hot swappable microSD/SDHC memory card slot supporting cards of up to 16GB and is expected to support the 32GB cards in the near future. The handset comes with 1GB card.

As mentioned above the BlackBerry Cyrve 8520 smartphone will be available in a series of black and frost colors for $129.99 with a two-year contract agreement and data plan.
