T-Mobile USA Gains More Subscribers V.J. | , 2:21 p.m. Aug. 7, 2008 2008-08-07

T-Mobile USA has recently announced the more subscribers trust the company to provide them quality mobile services. US’s forth largest wireless carrier said that more that 668.000 new subscribers joined T-Mobile USA in Q2.

The company has a tremendous success in the US market and continues to grow. Past figures did not seem so favorable but now the company ads another 668.000 subscribers to the total of 31.5 million. This does not come as a surprise as just recently T-Mobile made 3G connectivity available in Las Vegas and has the latest mobile phones in its portfolio. It seems the company takes good care of its customers.

Last year’s figures suggested that in Q1 customer additions were down 981.000 and in Q2 the number went down from 857.000. As well as T-Mobile has it now, it did not manage to surpass its rivals, the larger carriers AT&T and Verizon Wireless which reported more than a million new customers.

Additionally, T-Mobile USA’s profits seem to rise with over one million USD. This year’s Q2 income was $452 million, but last year’s net income for Q2 was $350 million. We can see an improvement in the service and profits that T-Mobile manage to bring.

Also revenues were $5.47 billion in the second quarter of 2008, Q2 last year was just $4.78.
