Google has just announced that starting now a new Google Maps features is activated. Street Views give you the opportunity to actually view your location and an accurate image of the street you are in or are looking for.

Google Maps which nowadays tries competing seriously with Nokia Maps is now available for mobile phones, the official Google Mobile Blog announced today.

The new service offers complete information on your current location. If you want to know about a specific street or to take a reference point such as a well-known building or a popular store, you just use Street View.

The newest version of Google Maps for mobile phone is now available for BlackBerry and other Java-enabled phones, Google Mobile Blog said. If you want to download it all you have to do is visit google.com/gmm
