Sony Ericsson launches W205 Walkman campaign V.J. | , 1:17 p.m. July 15, 2009 2009-07-15

Sony Ericsson has announced the launch of the campaign for its new Walkman phone, the W205. The campaign follows the idea that the new device is an affordable mobile phone appealing to anybody.

The campaign, based on the idea that the W205 is “My First Walkman phone” developed the theme entitled “My Personal Music Revolution” that shows that the handset’s features can be useful to any user.

The Sony Ericsson W205 Walkman comes with FM radio, Track ID music recognition solution and it also includes, of course, the handset’s Walkman player. Additionally the handset comes with GSM/GPRS connectivity, a modest 1.3 megapixel camera with video recording capabilities.

Other features include Opera Web browser, MMS, SMS, 5 mb of internal memory coupled with Memory Stick Micro slot with support for up to 2 GB of additional storage space. The phone measures 92.0 x 47.0 x 16.4 mm and weights about 100 grams. The battery offers 9 hours talk time and 425 hours standby time.
