Sony Ericsson Launch Aino 3G V.J. | , 11:19 a.m. June 1, 2009 2009-06-01

Sony Ericsson has just launched a new impeccable handset known by the name of Aino. You can control your Playstation 3 and access its media content on your Aino anywhere using Remote Play with Playstation 3.

This feature is pretty cool, isn’t it? Remote Play with Playstation 3 enables users to control and access media content on Playstation 3 from their phone. The best part is that this can be done via a local network between the P3 and Aino or via the internet from anywhere in the world.

Users in Italy, France, Spain, Germany and in the UK can also use the PlayTV service on Playstation 3 via the Aino. The feature enables the user to watch, pause and record live TV from a huge range of free channels via Anio on the go.

The handset combines the traditional keypad and touchUI in media mode. It comes with a 8.1 megapixel camera with up to 16x digital zoom, photo fix, photo flash, video recording, auto focus, face detection, image and video stabilizer, geo tagging, red-eye reduction, touch focus, smart contrast and photo light and feeds.

The Sony Ericsson Aino 3G Handset comes with a touchscreen media player, stereo speakers, SensMe, PlayNow, music tones in MP3 and ACC formats, Bluetooth A2DP. Users can access the internet via Access NetFront web browser.

The handset comes with 3D games support, FM radio with RDS, Java support, Motion gaming, video streaming and viewing, YouTube and Facebook support. The SE Aino comes with AGPS, Bluetooth, Google Maps and, of course, WiFi.

The handset weights no more than 134 grams and has the size of 104 x 50 x 15.5 mm. It comes with a 3 inch TFT screen that offers 240 x 432 pixels resolution and support for 16 M colors.

Sony Ericsson says that the handset will be available in Q4 2009 in “selected markets”.
