Sonic made it to the Olympics V.J. | , 4:10 p.m. Aug. 21, 2008 2008-08-21

Sonic, one of Sega’s most popular characters has managed to reach the Olympics. The game is now mobile and available for download. If you grudge for some old-time videogame entertainment, this is probably what you’re looking for.

The difference is that you don’t have to buy an old 16 BIT Sega drive to play it but you can do it on your mobile phone

Sonic at the Olympics is made to entertain using 5 different athletics events: discus, triple jumb, 400m hurdle, 1500m and Javelin. Each game has its own controls and features. This will surely give you some quality entertainment since the real Olympic Games are at their height.

Furthermore the events are quick to play and give lots of fun. The graphics follow the original Sonic concept so you won’t be surprised by a character that looks like Sonic but overall he isn’t.

Anyway you will be able to see just one competitor on screen at a time and it also seems that there are pre-defined scores and in order to win a medal you have to beat them. Overall this mobile game seems to be very entertaining and might want to give it a go.

The game will probably work on the latest handsets released by Sony Ericsson, Siemens, Sagem, Nokia, Motorola, Sharp and Samsung.
