The simple HTC Snap V.J. | , 3:19 p.m. April 10, 2009 2009-04-10

HTC is known to have been forging the most advanced mobile phones on the market. The company focused mainly on high-end mobile packed with the latest technology and mobile software. HTC Snap, however, is rather simple and elegant.

The new handset comes with a full QWERTY keyboard made especially for those who are in the need of using internet and writing quick emails or chatting online. The handset is surprisingly light as it weights just 120 grams, battery included.

HTC Snap comes with a 2.4 inch display, which is not touchscreen. The handset also incorporates a rather modest 2 megapixel camera with auto focus. The HTC Snap comes with a 528 Mhz Qualcomm processor, 192 RAM and 256 MB ROM. The handset is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro.

Interesting is the ‘Inner Circle’ feature. We all have countless numbers in our cell phones but we usually stay in touch on a regular basis with just a few people. Inner Circle comes to help you organize your contact list by prioritizing the people with whom you stay in contact. Messages and email from your ‘inner circle’ can take priority with the simple touch of a button.

Battery life is impressive; it provides 510 minutes in talktime and up to 380 hours in standby. Overall, the mid-end handset is a good mobile phone that could be a great introduction to HTC for new users.
