The upcoming Samsung T659 Scarlet mobile phone will become available for purchase next month. The Scarlet is set to hit markets on September 2.

The handset is a low-end smartphone with 3G capabilities and comes with Bluetooth, a 2 megapixel camera with video capture. The phone also has support for video messaging and instant messaging capabilities.

As mentioned above, the handset will become available on September 2 at T-Mobile. The carrier did not announce the phone’s price; however it may be that the Scarlet will be for free with a 2 year contract agreement.
