Samsung SCH-i760 to Run Windows Mobile 6.1 V.J. | , 5:53 p.m. July 15, 2008 2008-07-15

Samsung announced that SCH-i760 can now get a Windows Mobile 6.1 upgrade. People who want this upgrade do not need to get concerned in how to do it, everything is simple. You can access the official website and download it from there.

The Samsung SCH-i760 is currently available on Verizon Wireless. There are two different packages for upgrade; one is for Windows XP and the other for Windows Vista. The upgrade package can be downloaded from Samsung.

The handset is available on Verizon Wireless for around $300. The price is not that big if we consider the features this mobile phone has. It comes with 64 MB of RAM and has a 400 Hz processor. Also it is a great slider with QWERTY keyboard, external dialpad and touch screen.

SCH-i760 comes with integrated WiFi, Bluetooth and EV-DO. For photo shooting there is a 1.3 megapixel camera. The device also possesses real time e-mail delivery. Unfortunately it doest not support Verizon’s V Cast services and cannot integrate Windows Live.

In any other perspective this device is worth its money. It has a number of interesting features and it is reported to have good performance. The SCH-i760 is probably one of the best not-so-expensive handsets you can get your hands on through Verizon Wireless.
