The new Samsung i900 Omnia is compared to the latest Apple smartphone products and HTC’s Touch Diamond. Samsung undertook a great move to heighten their prestige in the market.

 

Omnia comes with a 3.2 inch Wide QVGA display and a lot of internal memory, 8 GB to 16 GB. Also, a build in 5 megapixel camera with face and smile detection, GPS, Bluetooth support. The device works on Windows Mobile 6.1 and it has a Microsoft Office viewer, Opera browser, incorporated Wi-Fi and contact manager. It also is compatible with wireless 3G networks and supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE.

 

To impress anyone who enjoys watching videos on their phone, this new model can play audio and various video formats – of course it has a built-in FM radio.

 

Samsung representatives said that the new device will be available beginning with Southeast Asia, but in the second half of 2008 it will storm other markets as well.
