UK’s first 12 megapixel camera is now available for purchase from mobile phone carrier Phones 4u. The handset comes for free on an 18 month Orange and Vodafone contracts at 45 pounds per month, however, Mobile Choice informs users may get it cheaper if they are willing to hand over their old handsets.

The Pixon12 comes with an impressive 12 megapixel camera with Touch Auto-Focus enabling users to select focus points by touching the screen. In addition, the camera has auto focus which can follow the selected focus point around the screen and keep it in focus as long as the user wants.

Another interesting feature is the Intelligence Shot Mode, which basically features Smart Auto that automatically changes the scene and mode based on the object, background and lightning. Pictures taken at night will also have great quality as the camera comes with Xenon flash on board.
