The relatively new Samsung mobile phone that comes with a 8 megapixel camera comes to the UK through the renowned O2 carrier. The handset known as the Samsung M8800 or Samsung Pixon is packed with some of the best features available for mobiles.

One of the most remarkable features that the Pixon handset is loaded with is its brilliant 8 megapixel camera with auto focus. Now, LG Renoir and Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot phone have a brand new rival.

Samsung Pixon, or M8800, comes with 200 MB internal memory expandable up to 8GB. The handset comes with a 3.2 inch touchscreen with a built-in accelerometer. The handset has quad band GSM support and tri band 3G with HSDPA, however, there is not WiFi capability available.

For the entertainment part, the Pixon comes with FM radio with RDS and TV Output and has FPS and AGPS functionality. The handset offers 3.5 hours in talktime mode and up to 290 hours in standby.
