Music lovers in Hong Kong will have another interesting gadget to play with. Samsung will launch the Lindy M5650U touchscreen phone, a handset designed especially for music lovers. The phone is incredibly similar in design with the Samsung Corby S3650C, but it has dedicated music buttons.

The phone is not quite cheap, it will come for about HK$1788 (US$231). The Lindy comes with a 2.8 inch 240 x 320 touchscreen display and a 3.2 megapixel camera with Smile Shot, built-in image editor and video recording. For a music phone, the camera is quite good.

It also comes with built-in music player that supports various file formats including MP3, AAC, AAC+, e-AAC+, WMA, MIDI and includes DNSe 3D sound effect technology to enhance sound quality. The phone also supports microSDHC up to 16 GB.
