Samsung Google Nexus S is a difficult catch for customers outside the United States, but the worries seems to subside after Samsung announced its plans of releasing the first Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone in Italy.
While others eagerly await the Nexus S's release in their country, the immensely popular smartphone will make its presence felt in Italy with slightly altered specifications. Samsung is not offering an exact replication of the original Nexus S since it will feature a 4” Super Clear LCD display instead of SuperAMOLED screen. Other specifications are the same including the 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 5MP camera, HD video recording, aGPS, NFC chip, gyroscope, Wi-Fi and 16GB internal storage.
The Google Nexus S will be available in Italy starting February at a retail price of 549 euros ($748).
