Premium Mobile TV service available for two BlackBerry phones V.J. | , 10:39 a.m. May 6, 2009 2009-05-06

The premier provider of solutions that manage the business of mobile video, QuickPlay Media, has announced its PrimeTime2Go premium mobile TV service. The service is available in the US for the BlackBerry Bold and the BlackBerry Curve 8900 smartphones.

The service costs $7.99 per month. That is not much having in mind that the user can download and watch the most recent episodes of their favorite shows. The service was a “Best of CTIA Wireless 2009” winner by LAPTOP Magazine.

Anyway, the service includes network and cable partners such as ABC, ABC Family, Disney Channel, Disney XD, ESPN and Discovery Communications which join a line-up that already includes CBS, NBC Universal and The CW.

PrimeTime2Go features an extensive catalog of content and full-length episodes of some of today’s most popular entertainment and news programs. Here’s a list:

* ABC: “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Lost,” and “Desperate Housewives”
* CBS: “CSI,” “NCIS,” “Harper’s Island” and “The Young and the Restless”
