Nokia has just released a major update for its Ovi Maps software. Ovi Maps now comes with some extra features imperious for traveling as it offers information on weather and precise location finding.

The update brings to Ovi Maps high resolution satellite an terrain maps in both 2D and 3D for over 200 cties, rotation, tilting, night view, fly-overs and fly-throughts. The service is becoming indispensable for tourists.

Anyway, Ovi Maps also offers enriched POI information by Lonely Planet, Michelin and Wcities as well as eather service that provides 24 hour and 5-day forcasts.
