India was the first country who got the handset and not its UAE’s (United Arab Emirates) turn. The device is awaited in all parts of the world but other markets may have to wait a bit more.

In the UAE the N96 will come with a preloaded Transformers movie. Now that’s a cute bonus. Anyway the handset comes with a 2.8 inch TFT display with 16 million colors and QVGA resolution. It will run Symbian S60 3^rd edition.

Additionally, the handset has internal GPS, WiFi connectivity capabilities, TF out and DVB-H TV receiver. It comes with a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus, flash and Carl Zeiss lens. In addition it has 16 GB of internal memory and microSD card support.

The N96 will be available in the UAE in about two weeks.
