Rumors circulate over the Net that Nokia and Microsoft will make an announcement today confirming that they will put Microsoft Office onto Nokia Smartphones. It seems the rumor is investigates seriously as even the Wall Street Journal keeps eyes the announcement.

A series of news reports suggest that the companies will confirm that Microsoft will provide a mobile version of the Microsoft Office for use with the Symbian operating system. Rumors seem may be confirmed as a series of PR companies have announced press conferences in London to make the partnership official, writes Cellular News.

According to the same publication, the Office 2010 Web Apps could be installed on Nokia smartphones. The release date might probably be sometime next year as a number of Office 2010 Web Apps have not yet begun beta testing.
