Mozilla to submit an app to the App Store Sheetal | , 12:40 p.m. Oct. 20, 2009 2009-10-20

Speculation starts much before the actual happening. Here comes news where Mozilla is rumoured to submit an app to the App Store.

Jon Lily, CEO of Mozilla, has stated "Mozilla will release an app to the iPhone app store in the next few weeks. It'll surprise people." With this we are left wondering whether it is the much and widely used Firefox or ?

As we are aware that Firefox, one of the most extensively used web browsers on computers these days is witnessed shifting its focus towards mobile devices. And perhaps that's why it'll need to struggle now with Apple's own mobile Safari as the latter has a proven record for itself to be one of the best mobile web browsers that are available at present.

It is expected that this Mozilla app will incorporate an entwine feature that'll acquire the entire browsing history from all the devices. This possibly will help you to save your preference on Mozilla's server as a result of which you can have an easy access to the websites from any device.

But as every new concept on paper needs a great deal of time and experimentation to reap the actual benefit, here consent is required from Apple to actually start its function.
