The CES 2011 stables have launched major products, with some involving the firsts in consumer technology. Motorola XOOM tablet is probably the pioneer amongst them featuring the first Honeycomb Android operating system.

Everyone eager to lay their hands on the iPad rival, will have to test their patience until February 21st, 2011 when Best Buy will launch the tablet at an estimated price of $699.99.

In fact, calculations pinpoint to a cheaper XOOM compared to the Apple 32GB iPad which retails for a $729 price. The tablet will intially offer Verizon's 3G network and in the course of time be upgraded to the latest LTE 4G network. Also, the XOOM features a higher resolution screen than the iPad along with front and rear facing cameras for video chat.
