For those of you who are interested in Motorola handsets and consider purchasing the upcoming Motorola Morrison, the phone’s details have been unveiled. This is the second Android phone to be released by Motorola.

Motorola Morrison is expected to be available in the US via T-Mobile in the fourth quarter of the year. According to reports, the release date might be October 21, however it was not officially announced by T-Mobile or Motorola.

In any case, the handset is set to come with Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR and A2DP, USB 2.0 High Speed, micro USB connector and WiFi connectivity support. The handset also comes with support for GSM 850/ 900/ 1800/ 1900, W-CDMA 900/ 2100.

The phone is powered by a Qualcomm MSM7201A 528 MHz processor and comes with 256 MB RAM and 512 flash memory. In addition, it comes with an HVGA display offering 320 x 480 pixel resolution.

The handset is equipped with a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus, geo-tagging and video recording capabilities. It also sports a 3.5 mm headphone jack and stereo out. In addition, users can expect a microSDHC memory card included in the package with support for 32 GB of additional space.

The Motorola Morrison comes with a 3-axis accelerometer, magnetometer, proximity and ambient light sensors and includes a GPS receiver with Assisted GPS and E-Compass, support for email protocols like POP3, IMAP4 and Exchange ActveSync. It also comes with support for QuickOffice V2 Viewer formats for email attachments.

As mentioned above, the handset is expected to become available at T-Mobile starting October 21.
