Information regarding the upcoming Motorola Droid has surfaced.

According to BGR, the handset is a slider running, of course, the Android 2.0 operating system. The handset will come with some pretty interesting features.

The phone is equipped with a 5 megapixel with image stabilization, 4x digital zoom, dual LED flash and autofocus. In addition, it has CDMA support (800 / 1900) EVDO Rev. A. The handset is powered by a 1400 mAh Li Ion and offers 385 minutes in talk time and over 270 hours in standby.

The multimedia part is covered by music, video, DVD quality video capture up to 24 fps at a resolution of 720 x 480. It comes with stereo Bluetooth connectivity support and also sports, WiFi, USB 2.0, aGPS and sGPS.

Since it is powered by Android, the phone comes with a series of Google apps like Android Market, Gmail, Google Maps with Street View. The handset benefits from a TFT 480 x 854 pixels resolution on a 3.7 inch display.
