Motorola has announced a new mobile phone which represents the company’s first push-to-talk handset that includes a full QWERTY keypad. The handset is known by the name of Clutch i465.

The handset has remarkable durability that enables it to withstand shock, vibration, dust and solar radiation. Clutch i465 enables users quick push-to-talk access to their contacts or fast messaging capabilities with its QWERTY keypad. Additionally, the handset supports MMS and POP3 email.

The new Motorola device comes with a camera with video recording capabilities and a 1.79 inch 64K color TFT display. The phone supports Bluetooth 1.2 for use with hands-free handsets.

Motorola Clutch i465 will be available with Boost Mobile in Q2 2009. Unfortunately, the company did not release any information regarding the phone’s availability or price tag.
