Mobile spy software unveiled by Retina-X V.J. | , 9:55 a.m. July 13, 2009 2009-07-13

Spy software for mobile phones developer, Retina-X Studios, has just released new spy software for the Apple iPhone 3G. The software, dubbed Mobile Spy 3.0, allows users to track GPS locations, SMS messages and calls of children or employees within an online control panel.

According to Retina-X, after the software is installed on the phone, it records the entire text of all SMS messages and collects information about each call and actual GPS positions. The software then runs in stealth mode and no mentions of the program are shown on the phone. Actually, Mobile Spy 3.0 runs in the background behind all other applications.

The company said that after the information of activities is logged, it will be sent to the user’s online account which can be checked online from anu web browser without further access to the phone. Additionally, activity logs may be viewed in real time which include complete texts and maps of GPS positions.

According to Retina-X, the new software works on all iPhone models and smartphones using Windows Mobile or Symbian OS operating systems.

James Johns, CEO of Retina-X Studios, said: "The popular 3GS device can now be monitored with ease. With reports of over one million 3GS devices sold in the first three days of launch, this smartphone is popular. Some users have a need to monitor activities of their child or employees. This is only possible with Mobile Spy."

The software is pretty cool, although its interesting part lies in its simplicity. However, I wouldn’t want to work for a company that tracks my every move and reads every SMS I send. Ethical questions still have to answered.
