Mobile Cancer May Reach 2 Billion Cases by 2020: Scientists Vlad Jecan | , 11:55 a.m. June 25, 2008 2008-06-25

The Australian Health Research Institute conducted studies on the effects that mobile phones have on humans. The high volume of electromagnetic radiation caused by wireless communication, mobile phones, internet may affect around 2 billion people by 2020.

Albeit other diseases such as impotency, migraine and epilepsy or heart ailments, humanity may be hit hard by the effects of mobile phones emitted radiations. Scientists say children are most exposed as their tissues are more tender, and they should not be encouraged to use cellphones.

A number of the world’s Ministries of health give credit to the research, including the World Health Organization, saying that similar research came to the same conclusions. Danger comes especially from the electromagnetic radiation emitted by devices like mobile phone antenna, transmission tower, mobile phones, wireless devices, systems and equipment.

In the same time, each country has a maximum level of emission admitted in the use of mobile phones. Thus each manufacturer has to limit emissions for each device in order to not affect users’ health.

There has been a lot of speculation around this subject, some specialists agree with the dangers of mobile phones and other are skeptical. What do you think? Will there be 2 billion mobile cancer patients by 2020?
