LG to launch two new handsets in Japan V.J. | , 4:45 p.m. Aug. 18, 2009 2009-08-18

Two new touchscreen phones are planed to be launched by LG in the Japanese market. The L-06A and the L-04A will become available for purchase via NTT DoCoMo starting August 20.

The two handsets will feature the company’s “Live Character Park” UI targeting the young generation.

The L-06A comes with HSUPA or High Speed Uplink Packet Access service, “G” button on they keypad offering users a one-touch connection to Google’s business directory, a 5 megapixel camera and microSD external memory. The handset comes win three different colors including White, Black and red.

In the same time the L-04A comes with basically the same features and also sports a 3 inch full touchscreen and 1-Seg support. The phone will become available in four colors like White, Yellow, Silver and Pink.
