LG Electronics announced recently that the new handset LG GD900 Crystal will be available in 40 countries all around the world. The handset is expected this month in Germany and in July in the UK.
The LG GD900 Crystal brings an innovative design with a transparent keypad and other interesting features. The device is a high-end phone with a 3 inch WVGA touchscreen display that brings 480 x 800 pixel resolution and support for 16M colors. Additionally, the handset sports an 8 megapixel camera with auto focus and flash.
The LG GD900 comes with HSDPA, WiFI, Bletooth 2.0 with A2DP, accelerometer, TV out and 1.5 GB of internal memory and microSD memory card slot support for up to 16 GB of additional storage space.
It also comes with LG’s S-Class Touch UI, email and instant messaging capabilities, HTML browser and multimedia functionality.
LG Electronics did not specify the countries where the new handset will be available but the information should be available shortly. The handset will become available in 40 countries in Europe, Asia and America. There is no precise information on the phone’s price tag but it is expected to cost about $622 or 450 Euros.
