It was time LG held back their growing sentiments towards its South Korean home market. However, the announcement of 'Wink series seem to predict a different tale, may be that of re-kindling their friendship with the European & Middle East buddies?

The Wink series of phones; namely LG T300 Wink, T310 Wink style and T320 Wink 3G are initially slated for European and the Middle East market, followed by Latin American and CIS countries. Later on, in the third quarter they may be available in 'select Asian countries'.

According to the LG press release the phones are targeted at 'Generation Z', probably for teens below the age of 20. All three debut handsets feature a virtual QWERTY, an accelerometer, instant messaging, email, 3.5-inch headphone jack, FM radio and microSD slot.
