LG Have announced a new handset, the Viewty Smart, also known as the LG-GC900, which is a camera phone with an Intelligent Shot Mode that eases the process of picture taking by automatically analyzing scenes and adjusting camera settings.

The handset comes with an 8 megapixel sensor with sensitivity up to ISO 1600, a higher resolution WVGA touchscreen. The Viewty Smart with Intelligent Shot mode analyzes the subject, background and lightning conditions and compare the data against seven pre-programmed scenarios to take perfect pictures every time.

The camera has several other features like Touch Shot, Art Shot, Beauty Shot, Panorama Shot and Continuous Shot, all present to give optimal quality to your photos. The handset additionally comes with a 3 inch WVGA screen providing full 800 X 480 pixels resolution, A-GPS, 7.2 Mbps HSDPA network and Wi-Fi compatibility.

The Viewty Smart comes with 1.5 GB of internal memory and is compatible with microSD cards up to 32 GB. The handset is expected to enter the European market starting this May and then to be available around the world.
