Sony Ericsson really wants to keep up its G-series. Until recently, the only devices available in the series were candybars, but now Sony Ericsson introduces a slider. The Japan based Sony and Sweden’s Ericsson didn’t officially announced the G705 Slider, but numerous information and pictures appeared on the net.

 

The Sony Ericsson G705 is definitely a novelty for the G-series. Other products in the series include just candybars like G502, G700 and G900, the new is brought by the introduction of the G705 with is a splendid slider.

 

Information on the release is not official. Everything we could gather comes from rumors and photos from around the internet. As we can tell, the upcoming device comes with a 2.2 inch display that may have 240 x 320 pixels and 262K colors. It seems to have a 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash, fixed focus and video recordings, it is a front facing camera perfectly suited for video calls.

 

As for other information, the G705 comes with built-in GPS and may also include quad-band GSM connectivity, Wi-Fi and 3G. Release dates and prices are unknown, but the Unofficial Sony Ericsson Blog wrote that the G705 may be unveiled in mid-August. All we can do for the moment is wait and see it released.
