A new Motorola iDEN mobile phone was leaked on the Web, the handset is the i856. The handset comes as a small surprise as two other iDEN handsets have recently been released.

At this time, the specifications are scarce. As far as we know, the handset comes with a 2.2 inch display and a modest camera of 1.3 megapixel camera. The handset also has Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity and a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space. Additionally, the i856 iDEN comes with the Push to Talk capability.

Judging by the known specs, the handset is far from being spectacular. The new Motorola i856 iDEN is reported to be released by the end of the third quarter, yet for more information we just have to wait. The handset is expected to cost about $299.
