One more time, Google has come up with amazing & user-friendly attributes.Yesterday, it surfaced with an extremely trouble-free style, wherein, voice actions were introduced for android cell phones that run on the operating system 2.2.

With the help of this kind of facility, voice actions would be utilised to carry out the normal routine functions that we perform by means of cell phones.

The voice actions are nothing but a series of verbal commands with the help of which it has now become possible to take charge of your cell phones. It include common actions like: Sending text & emails, listen to music, call businesses, call contacts, note to self, navigate & locating maps, Google search, etc.  And the best part about these things is that; you can conduct a Google search as well using your voice. Now isn't it exciting?

For this, you simply have to tap the microphone button on the Google search box on the home screen. Otherwise, just press down for a few seconds on the search button on your phone to activate the "Speak Now" screen.

Not only this, Google is also releasing an updated version of the Google search widget for Android. This feature will assist you to perform the local search query which you can refine further by tapping the pencil icon that appears to the right of search suggestions.

It is believed that both these facilities i.e. Voice Actions and the new Google search widget need Android 2.2  that will be pre-installed with the new Droid 2 phone from Motorola and Verizon.

As of now, voices actions are available only for U.S. English speakers. While those, who possess another cell phones with Android 2.2 are required to download several applications updates from Android Market with any music apps that you use for e.g Pandora, mSpot or Last.fm, etc.
