Garmin-Asus Nuvifone G60 is close to be released V.J. | , 8:59 p.m. Feb. 4, 2009 2009-02-04

Last year, Garmin announced that they will launch their first Sat-Nav GPS phone. However, the handset was never commercialized due to various reasons. Perhaps Garmin did not had the technology to compete with other mobile phone manufacturers.

Anyway, the handset has been taken to development by Asus, not renowned for their mobile phones but with sufficient budget and technology to make a great mobile phone. Thus, in the near future we will have a superb handset, the Garmin-Asus Nuvifone G60.

The handset comes with a camera that provides automatic geo-tagging, HSDPA support, mobile Web broser and video camera. It also has a 3.5 inch touchscreen and excellent GPS features.

Well, if you want some diversity among mobile phones you should check this device out. Unfortunately we do not know the exact release date, but shouldn’t be too long.
