Communicator adds email management to Workcast's Webcast Manager V.J. | , 3:41 p.m. Aug. 8, 2009 2009-08-08

Leading European enterprise email-management company Communicator Corp (www.communicatorcorp.com) has announced the integration of its acclaimed Communicator platform with leading webcast and webinar specialist WorkCast (www.workcast.co.uk).

WorkCast provides businesses with broadcast, live or pre-recorded audio, video or desktop content over the Internet; in much the same way as online TV services like BBC iPlayer. The company’s Webcast Manager product delivers a reliable and cost effective solution that enables businesses to communicate information via a web event or through pre-recorded content.

The integration, which follows the signature of a partnership agreement between the two companies, adds maximum impact and effectiveness to any business webcast or webinar. With Communicator in place, webcast and emarketing results, presentation viewing statistics and individual response data can all be closely tracked. It also enables in-depth analyses of customer relationships, so that campaigns can be fine tuned to the specific needs of particular types of customer.

Communicator handles the invite, scheduling, notification and reminder stages of events. The system identifies and tracks whether emails from potential viewers are received, opened or acted upon. In addition, emails from the WorkCast platform and Webcast Manager Product can now include embedded, rich media content. These can now be fully branded and customised to achieve maximum impact. Users can chose from a range of high quality templates or create their own design. This branding follows through to the event’s online auditorium player.

WorkCast fully records and archives webcast and webinar content along with all the constituent elements of the presentation. These can include PowerPoint presentations, software based demonstrations or any other supporting documentation. All of these can be fully archived and viewed or emailed after the event. The combined system also manages any viewers’ questions either off or online.
