The specs of the two upcoming RIM handsets, the BlackBerry Pluto also known as the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and the BlackBerry Magnum 9220 have surfaced on the net. The details regarding the two phones were not officially presented and in consequence the specification may not coincide with official releases. However, we can make an idea of what the two phones are capable of.

The BlackBerry Pluto also known as the BlackBerry Bold 9900 is a device to feature both touchscreen capabilities and a physical QWERTY keyboard. It comes with a 2.6 inch touchscreen display offering 480 x 360 pixel resolution, 128 MB ROM and 128 MB RAM and comes with 1GB of secondary ROM capacity.

In addition, the phone comes with a 3.1 megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR connectivity support, microUSB, WiFi, TrackBall, GPS and Geotagging.

The phone may come with the RIM BlackBerry OS 4.7 with GSM (850/ 900/ 1800/ 1900) and UMT (850/ 1900/ 2100), CSD, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA connectivity. The BlackBerry Bold 9900 is expected to enter the market in September.

The BlackBerry Magnum also known as the BlackBerry Bold 9220 is also set to launch in September and will probably run BlackBerry OS 4.6. The handset comes with 128 MB ROM and 128 MB RAM and will be powered by a Marvell PXA930 624 MHz processor.

The Magnum comes with a 2.4 inch display with a 480 x 360 pixel resolution, a 3.5 mm jack. The phone will be equipped with a 3.1 megapixel camera, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR connectivity support, TrackBall and a QWERTY keyboard.

As mentioned above, the specs presented here are unofficial, or how Softpedia puts it “remain in the rumor area.” In any case we expect more information to surface as the release date for both handsets is speculated to be in September.
