BlackBerry to Launch the Pearl Flip 8220 V.J. | , noon Sept. 10, 2008 2008-09-10

 

BlackBerry has recently announced that the new device Pearl Flip 8220 will be released shortly and T-Mobile USA will get it first. The handset is of course everything BlackBerry means and comes with some interesting features.

 

The BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 previously known as the KickStart comes with a 240 x 320 pixel internal display and a light-sensing external screen. Additionally it has a full QWERTY keyboard, WiFi with UMA support, quad-band GSM connectivity with GPRS and EDGE.

 

The new handset comes with BlackBerry Internet Service, BlackBerry Professional Software, BlackBerry Enterprise server, a full HTML browser, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, USB 2.0 and Music Player.

 

The handset comes with a 2 megapixel camera with flash and video recording and microSD and microSDHC cards support. The device itself is pretty light as it weights about 102 grams and measures 99 x 48 x 17.8 mm.

 

Pricing information is not available at this moment but we can safely say that the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 will be available shortly throught T-Mobile USA.
