BlackBerry Bold Goes to Japan Next Year V.J. | , 12:12 p.m. Sept. 29, 2008 2008-09-29

NTT DoCoMo has recently announced that the new BlackBerry Bold will be available in Japan starting 2009. The new RIM product is highly awaited in the country and in a few months RIM lovers will have the opportunity to buy the Bold.

The handset has some interesting features as it comes with internal GPS, BlackBerry Maps, WiFi and great Internet features like advanced email and Web capabilities, document reader and editor.

The entertainment part is covered by a Music Player and a Video Player. It has about 1 GB of internal memory that is expendable, of course. This will allow for plenty space of music storage.

The handset comes with a 480 x 320 pixels TFT display and has a full QWERTY keyboard. It measures only 114 x 66 x 143 millimeters and weights about 130 grams. The handset offers 5 hours in talk-time mode and up to 310 hours in stand-by.
